So now the CDC wants to urge women to circumcise their baby boys to protect women from STD's. This is such a huge step backwards. Just when the world is waking up to this unnecessary and barbaric practice, the United States is going backwards. The science is flawed. An uncircumcised penis is natural, not the other way around. If men were not supposed to have a foreskin, why the hell are we born with one? Secondly, circumcision does NOT cut down on the spread of STD's, any more than washing your penis. Performing unnecessary mutilation on a boys penis to possibly prevent future disease makes as much sense as yanking out healthy teeth because they might cause problems later on. But more importlantly, this new push is centered around the health of women. Yes, it's always about women isn't it. What they want, how it effects them, etc. etc. etc.
Why is it illegal to circumcise baby girls, but perfectly OK to do it to baby boys?
